Course Delivery Methods

Because we're all different, AIFA have developed several ways to deliver our training. For some, the classroom environment and the interaction with a teacher and other students is important. For others, having access to materials at a time that suits them is all that matters.

Classroom Training

AIFA have permanent modern campuses at North Sydney and Parramatta as well as temporary campuses at various locations nationally. Our classrooms are equipped with modern computer equipment and software and are led by experienced instructors who diligently monitor your learning. Our campuses are air conditioned, comfortable and have tea, coffee and break out facilities where you can interact with other, like minded students.

Online Learning

AQUA is the name given to AIFA's web based e-learning platform. AQUA enhances the training experience by offering one convenient place for all students' needs, accessible anywhere any-time an internet connection is available.

This state-of-the-art platform is used by our trainers, tutors, students and administrators to streamline communication and help facilitate supported learning that is considerate of the 21st century lifestyle.

AQUA gives you a place to share ideas, work collaboratively and to seek help when it is needed. It's a personalised learning space where you can read and respond to messages, access, save, return to and submit your work, monitor your progress, and so much more. AQUA offers three different delivery methods as below.

1. AQUA WebLT - Web Live Tutorial - A Classroom in the Cloud

Within a live and interactive WebLT session, students and trainers communicate online via webcams and a microphone. Each tutorial session is led by one of our professional tutors and involves interactive presentations, collaborative working and an opportunity to discuss and debate current issues relevant to the course and industry. After the live tutorial, students are encouraged to continue the discussions through the AQUA platform.

All learning material is provided to you. You will need to have a webcam, headset and reliable broadband connection to access WebLT sessions. Our IT helpdesk assists with the initial setup and is available during every session.

2. AQUA WebLS - Web Lecture Series - Access 24/7

The WebLS learning method is independent learning with a difference designed for people who can never get their schedule to coincide with our WebLT or classroom schedule. WebLS is a Lecture Series to support our learning material and you can access your course any time of the day or night. WebLS is ideal for busy professionals and people on the move with limited time to commit to a rigid schedule.

WebLS students access learning materials supported by pre-recorded lectures on each topic. So, while you are working as an independent student you have 24/7 access to detailed explanations to support the learning material you have downloaded in AQUA.

3. AQUA WebDL - Web Distance Learning - Fits in with you

Using this method, students access course material and assessment tasks through AIFA’s Web site as and when required 24/7. As one lecture set and the related assessments are completed the next lecture set and assessments are released from our on-line library. No special equipment, other than a PC, laptop or Mac, or software is required to participate.
