FNS 30304 Certificate III in Financial Services (Accounts Clerical)

Suitable for candidates who:

  • intend to perform entry-level bookkeeping duties, such as accounts payable/ receivable, payroll processing or other similar duties; or
  • wish to obtain the qualification to broaden their knowledge and career prospects; or
  • wish to undertake further accounting or bookkeeping studies.

This course will equip you with:

  • the skills necessary to perform bookkeeping tasks in the workplace;
  • the ability to perform manual and computerised accounting;
  • the understanding of office procedures and computing;
  • the knowledge necessary to prepare financial reports;
  • the relevant communication skills.

The course prepares you for work such as:

  • accounts payable/receivable clerk
  • payroll clerk
  • cashier
  • bookkeeper

Pathways: STUDY

As a graduate of this course you will be granted credits towards the Certificate IV in Accounting and Certificate IV in Bookkeeping.

COURSE DELIVERY AND DURATION

AIFA ensures you can complete your qualification in the shortest possible timeframe;

  • Our 4-Term year and intensive training methods allow qualification completion in half the time compared other training institutions (such as TAFE and others).
  • Also, we recognise the skills and knowledge you have gained through your work experience and/ or previous studies. Where appropriate, we give you credits towards your qualification. Those who have extensive experience in their field can complete the entire qualification by assessment through our Assessment Centre.

Class schedule:

  • Classroom attendance 8 hours per week for 1 Term of 11 weeks; and
  • Private study approximately 8-12 hours per week.

Recognition of Previous Study and Experience at our Assessment Centre

  • CREDIT TRANSFER: If you have previously completed relevant competency units at any RTO, AIFA will give you credit transfers towards your qualification. Please indicate on your enrolment form your request for RPL Credit Transfer. Credit Transfer will reduce the time required to complete a qualification.
  • CURRENT COMPETENCY AND EXPERIENCE: AIFA has established an Assessment Centre to allow assessment of candidates with relevant work experience and competencies. Candidates can complete the entire qualification by assessment through our Assessment Centre.

Assessment requirements
