This qualification has been designed for those who wish to secure entry level credit management roles in the financial services sector as well as credit management functions in all other industries. The qualification is also suitable for individuals operating as Responsible Managers.
The qualification includes units that may meet educational requirements for the obtaining of an Australian Credit Licence (ACL) and that would be applicable for licensees / organisations wishing to meet their organisational competence obligations under ASIC Regulatory Guide 206 (RG206). Course Units
To earn this qualification, 12 units must be achieved, 9 core units plus 3 elective units. Elective units are generally chosen to match the outcomes required for a specific job role. Note that the elective units below form the standard AIFA Cert IV in Credit Management course. For organisations seeking to have groups of staff qualified, customisation of electives is possible and encouraged.

Course Duration and Delivery
- Delivery and client support is provided through the AIFA online AQUA LMS platform, integrated with interactive webinar tutorials (WebLT) and assessmentsaccording to a prearranged schedule.
- The course is delivered in 26 weeks, with a live scheduled 2-hour web-based tutorial at the same time each fortnight to guide and direct students in their knowledge acquisition and skills development. Tutorials are live and interactive allowing demonstration of examples, practice of concepts and skills, and review of completed assessment tasks.
- Students download course outlines, assessment tasks and courseware, and review recordings of previous tutorials on AQUA.
- Students also submit their completed assessments on AQUA for marking and Trainer feedback.
- The course is fully supported by a Trainer who has many years experience working in Credit Management roles.
- Note that a webcam, headset and a reliable broadband service is required to access the tutorial sessions.
