Students have an exciting array of options to access Qualification training at AIFA.
AIFA'S Web Learning Technology - WebLT:
WebLT is a distance education course that delivers supported training through a live and interactive virtual classroom of up to 12 students with video and audio participation. These virtual tutorials are scheduled for 2 hours once in each fortnight at the same time and day for each term of 10 weeks. WebLT does not require any special software. Copies of recorded sessions are available for review at completion of the virtual class.
WebLT is a structured progression program to ensure high completion rates for all students. WebLT allows you to talk frequently with you trainer and fellow students.
It is essential to have an internet connection with appropriate speed and a laptop/PC with a webcam and audio.. A broadband wired internet connection is required. Wireless broadband is often not reliable, affecting the quality of video and audio transmission and is not suitable for participating in WebLT. A dial-up internet connection is not sufficient for WebLT participation.
AIFA's Web Lecture Series - WebLS:
WebLS is an online distance education course with access to online course materials and 20 one hour pre-recorded audio lectures. Students access the Lecture Series, course material and assessment tasks through AIFA's Web site as and when required 24/7 - as one lecture set and the related assessments are completed the next lecture set and assessments are released from our on-line library. No special equipment, other than a PC or Mac, or software is required to participate.
WebLS is also a structured progression program; we monitor and support your progress through your viewing of video's, the completion of quizzes, and the lodgement of assessment tasks.
AIFA's Distance Learning - WebDL:
WebDL is an online distance learning option similar to WebLS without the recorded video lecture series and with our structured progression program. Students access course material and assessment tasks through AIFA's Web site as and when required 24/7 - as one lecture set and the related assessments are completed the next lecture set and assessments are released from our on-line library. No special equipment, other than a PC or Mac, or software is required to participate.
AIFA's Classroom Training:
Full time classroom based training is conducted at our North Sydney and Parramatta campuses, or on-site at client's premises. On-Campus, training is conducted 2 days per week for the course duration on either Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday and Thursday from 9.00am to 5.00pm. Each Term is for 10 continuous weeks.
AIFA'S Recognition of Prior Learning - WebREC:
Our recognition process is second to none - timely, convenient, accessible, efficient, comprehensive. Using our WebLT live and interactive platform, a candidate for RPL can provide and discuss their evidence portfolio conveniently on-line with our recognition experts. Over a number of virtual meeting sessions, we can transform your experience and skills in to a full qualification or a number of units of competency from the convenience of your office or home office with WebREC.
