AIFA leads PPP Financial Services & Accounting Training

AIFA has announced that it has been appointed by NSW State Training to be a lead RTO in financial services and accounting training.
TheNSW Productivity Places Program is part of the Australian Government's Skilling for the Future Initiative. ThePPP will boost by 175,000 the number of funded qualifications for jobseekersand existing workers in NSW in the period to the end of 2012. The totalcomprises:
· 58,000job seeker qualifications
· 117,000existing worker qualifications
The program offers prioritised fullqualifications for industry, including:
· those experiencingskills shortages, e.g. Community Services and Health
· industriesof strategic importance, e.g. Advanced Manufacturing, Finance.
The PPP targets jobseekers and existing workers for participation in priority,nationally-recognised vocational qualifications. The criteria used to determinea participant's eligibility for a training place under the program have beendefined broadly to encourage wide participation.
AIFA will commence PPP training in DIPLOMA OF ACCOUNTING and DIPLOMA OF FINANCIAL SERVICES (FINANCIAL PLANNING) in early October. Learn more......
